We are Officially Open!
Hello Rachael,
We are so incredibly excited to announce that we are officially open at our new 35-acre estate located just 2 miles down from Locavore's original homestead. Next Sunday's newsletter will recap the journey from dream to ownership and complete renovation. We will also share the news of our ABC feature, filmed this past Saturday at our first Dine on the Land event of the season!
So, let's celebrate this Thursday, June 30 and officially kick-off our signature Thursday Hangs through October. Heck, it's July Fourth Weekend!
Thursday Night starts at 6 PM and ends at 10 PM. We will have live music by Molly Adamson, yard games, bonfire with marshmallows for roasting (s'more kits sold separately) and more. Our weekly harvest dictates our menu; however, we've planned to offer our signature Scotch Egg Burgers, Pulled Pork Tacos and Smoked Veggie Pizza. Our bar menu features herb garden-infused cocktails, smoked bourbon lemonade, wine and local craft beer.
Thursdays are a casual gathering to celebrate the weekly bounty... much like what the Jones’ family and most farmers do every day during the growing season. A harvest in the morning. Create a menu by the afternoon. And, open the farm for an evening of dining. Admission is $15. Food and drink sold separately. Menu is al la carte. Dining is al fresco, featuring live music and bonfire.
This is also the day CSA members pick-up their weekly farm box. Advance purchase required to assist in harvesting and menu planning. Admission includes live music, bonfire and everything that goes into offering a one-of-a-kind dining out experience. Cash and credit are accepted. We open rain or shine as our indoor space is as magical as our outdoor.
On behalf of my family and team, we are so excited to show off our new experience and event space. We've transformed 35-acres into a productive working farm and agrarian resort. Through God's grace and provision, we moved forward and are living a dream. Come see for yourself.
