You want farm-fresh food, we’ll grow and harvest it for you. It’s really that easy. With our weekly farm box subscription, you’re able to simply make a trip to Locavore Farm and walk away with a box full of a fresh variety of seasonal, recently-harvested produce AND a whole pasture raised chicken. 

 

DETAILS

  • Includes seasonal vegetables and herbs and a whole pasture raised chicken (see website for specific produce inclusions)

  • Pick up every Thursday May 30 - October 24 (22-weeks)

  • $72/week

  • Subscription includes admission for your entire household and up to four guests to every Thursday Night Experience, so you can enjoy dinner and live music on the land where your goods were harvested. Let our farm be yours to share for the entire season.

 

THE GOODS

We grow, pasture-raise, and source the very best in vegetables, herbs, and meat so you enjoy wholesome, nutrient-dense food. Locavore Farm is privileged to collaborate with other like-minded small, family farms to ensure each basket is sustainable and diverse. Here's what grows each month:

 

May/June: 

  • lettuce, snap peas, radishes, broccoli, Swiss chard, kale, basil, parsley, cilantro

 

July/August: 

  • kohlrabi, cabbage, Hakurei turnips, Swiss chard, kale, lettuce, zucchini/summer squash, beets, fennel, patty pan, green beans, frisee, sweet corn, carrots, cucumbers, white & red potatoes

 

August/September: 

  • beets, carrots, cabbage, variety of squashes, variety of melons, shishito peppers, assorted peppers (sweet, hot, roasting), cucumbers, tomatoes (cherry, heirloom, roma), delicata squash, lettuce, green beans, collards, radishes, butternut squash, beets, sweet potatoes, white potatoes, celery, winter squash

 

October: 

  • celery, celeriac, sweet potatoes, sweet roasters, beets, autumn frost squash, butternut squash, kohlrabi, carrots, scarlet queen turnips, small leeks, broccoli, savoy cabbage, purple daikon, radishes, French and round, hakurei turnips, collard greens, pac choi, garlic, napa cabbage
